Experiment : Springs Dynamics : Blue Cell (2001)

These are bunch of points that are inter-connected with springs. Note that there are two shapes: A circle (dot 1 to 8) and a square (dot 10 to 17). The Blue Cell is a circle of springs. This circle is very instable. When you drag the the Blue Cell around it easily collapses. That's why I build the second shape, the square around the Blue Cell. When the Blue Cell collapses then the square pulls it back into its round shape.

Try to push and squeeze the Blue cell into one of the corners. It's fun!
